This page lists every cookie and browser storage key ShopSmart sets, what each one is for, and how you can control them. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits. It lets a site recognise your browser between requests — which is how you stay signed in as you move from page to page.
Websites also use related technologies such as local storage, which keeps data in your browser but is never sent to the server automatically. We use both, and we list both below.
Everything listed on this page is set by ShopSmart itself and exists to make the service work — to sign you in, keep your cart, and protect your account. That is why you will not see a cookie consent banner asking you to accept tracking: there is nothing of that kind to consent to.
If this ever changes — if we introduce analytics or advertising cookies — we will ask for your consent first, update this page, and give you a way to say no.
These are required for the service to function. They cannot be switched off through a preference setting, because without them you could not sign in or complete an order. They contain no advertising identifiers.

These are kept in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies. They stay on your device and are not transmitted with every request.

We do not embed third-party advertising or analytics trackers. A small number of third parties are nonetheless involved in delivering the service, and may set cookies of their own when you interact with them:

You can manage or delete cookies in your browser settings. Most browsers let you block all cookies, block third-party cookies only, or clear what is already stored.
Clearing your browser storage will also empty a cart that has not yet been saved to your account.
We will update this page whenever we add, remove, or change a cookie. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version. If we ever introduce cookies that require your consent, we will ask for it before setting them.
